Nava Rath:
For the first nine days of Dashain, there has been a tradition of taking holy bath in nine places; this is referred as the 'Navrath'. Pilgrims throng to various river confluences early in the morning and sacred shrines in the evening.
The following river confluences form the Nava Rath for the nine days of Dashain, from Ghatasthapana to Nawami; and the names mentioned in the braces are the shrines worshipped in the respective days.
